About the multi-currency converter

Most converters only show one target currency at a time. Ours lets you enter a single amount and see it in as many currencies as you like — handy for travel budgets, freelance invoicing across borders, or comparing international prices. Rates are pulled live when you press Convert; if you're offline, the tool falls back to a stored sample table so it still demonstrates the layout.

How loan and auto payments are calculated

The monthly payment uses the standard amortization formula: M = P · r(1+r)ⁿ ⁄ ((1+r)ⁿ − 1), where P is the principal, r is the monthly rate (annual ÷ 12) and n is the number of payments. For a car loan, the principal is the vehicle price minus your down payment. Total interest is the sum of every payment minus the amount borrowed.

Savings goals and sales tax

The savings goal tool works backwards from your target using the future-value-of-an-annuity formula to tell you how much to set aside each month, accounting for interest along the way. The sales tax calculator both adds tax to a pre-tax price and works in reverse to pull the tax back out of a tax-inclusive total.
